2月13日（日本時間）に第59回グラミー賞（59th GRAMMY Awards：2017）の授賞式が行われ、その結果が発表されました。
主要四部門は、年間最優秀レコード（Record Of The Year）がAdele「Hello」、年間最優秀アルバム（Album Of The Year）がAdele『25』、年間最優秀楽曲（Song Of The Year）がAdele「Hello」、最優秀新人賞（Best New Artist）がChance The Rapper、となっています。Adele（アデル）は、Best Pop Solo Performance、Best Pop Vocal Albumの部門も受賞したので、主要3部門を含む5冠ということになりますね。
その他では、Best Alternative Music AlbumやBest Rock Song、Best Rock Performanceなど5部門で受賞を果たしたDavid Bowie（デヴィッド・ボウイ）や、Best New ArtistのほかBest Rap Album、Best Rap Performanceでも受賞したChance The Rapper（チャンス・ザ・ラッパー）らが目立つところでしょうか。また、Best Dance RecordingはThe Chainsmokers ft. Dayaの「Don’t Let Me Down」、Best Dance/Electronic AlbumはFlumeの『Skin』が受賞しています。
