US時間の1月26日夜、第56回グラミー賞（2014）の授賞式が行われ、その結果が発表されました。
まず、グラミー賞主要四部門ですが、Record Of The YearはDaft Punk featuring Pharrell Williams & Nile Rodgers「Get Lucky」でした。全世界32か国でトップ10に食い込んだというこの曲は、順当勝ちといったところでしょうか。Album Of The YearもDaft Punk『Random Access Memories』、これはフランス勢にとってまさに快挙ですね。ロボットが抱き合っていたそうです（追記：Daft Punkはノミネートされた5部門すべてで受賞）。Song Of The YearはLorde「Royals」、Best New ArtistがMacklemore & Ryan Lewisという結果になりました。Macklemore & Ryan LewisはBest Rap Performance、Best Rap Song、Best Rap Albumも受賞と、破竹の勢いでした。
iLOUDが注目していたところでは、Zeddが、Best Dance Recordingを受賞。アメリカ人優位のグラミーでは、Kaskadeとの一騎打ちと見られていましたが、北米ツアーをしっかり行っていた成果でしょうか。また、Best Alternative Music AlbumはVampire Weekendでした。
